In his autobiographical memoir, Elie Wiesel takes the reader on his journey from the Jewish ghettos to the concentration camps as his people were persecuted, torn apart, and killed during the Holocaust. Although he experienced this horrifying ordeal as a young boy, he approaches the whole situation with the wisdom and foresight of a level-headed adult. Wiesel's Night provides a brutally honest account of the atrocities at Bukenvald concentration camp through the innocent eyes of a boy robbed of his youth.
