Interactive Timeline
The following link is to a timeline of the Holocaust. It sequences the most important events that occurred between the early beginnings of the Nazi Party and World War II to Hitler's suicide and the fall of the Third Reich. It provides students with additional vocabulary words that we won't directly focus on during class instruction, but are topical to the events on the timeline. Students are encouraged to refer back to this timeline throughout the unit to reacquaint themselves with a particular person or event.
Following the study of this timeline, students will be creating their own timeline of their choice book, to be handed in along with their final research paper.

This artifact was chosen with the following learning goals in mind:
- Through the use of this artifact, I will familiarize myself with the course of events during World War II and the Holocaust.
- I will also be able to refer back to this timeline as the unit progresses, citing trends or events that served as precursors to others.
- I will be able to use the timeline as a visual representation of the progression of the war, to be used in addition to the texts I encounter
- I will be able to use this timeline as a model to create my own timeline tracking the journey and important events of the main character(s) in my choice book (to be handed in with the research paper component).
